Duties & Responsibilities:
- IT Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with Raya Airways’ objectives to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and manage the IT team to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.
- System Management: Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of all hardware, software and networking infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless operations.
- Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain strong security protocols to protect company data and systems from internal and external threats.
- Project Management: Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations and technology integrations, ensuring completion within budget and timeline.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software and support services.
- Budgeting: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure IT operations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and policies.
- User Support: Oversee the provision of IT support services to employees, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and technical difficulties.
- Data Management & Reporting: Ensure proper data management practices, including backups, storage, and disaster recovery plans.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management is required, preferably within the aviation or logistics sector.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, network management, databases, software, and cybersecurity practices is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a proven track record in managing and developing IT teams, are necessary.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- IT certifications such as ITIL, PMP or equivalent are desirable.
