Senior Executive, Corporate Communication

The Senior Executive of Corporate Communication is responsible for implementing communication strategies, creating content and managing media relations. This role focuses on operational execution, ensuring that communication plans are effectively carried out across various channels, including social media and internal communications. The position requires strong writing skills, creativity, proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and creative software as well as the ability to collaborate with other departments.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

1. Digital & Social Media Management:

  • Support the management of corporate social media channels by creating engaging content and monitoring audience interaction.
  • Assist in executing strategies to increase visibility and engagement on digital platforms.
  • Write and edit high-quality content for various communication channels including articles, blogs and social media posts.
  • Able to create narratives for each social media postings.
  • Create presentations, reports and other materials for corporate meetings and stakeholders.
  • Able to create engaging content via creative software including Adobe Illustrator, Canva, CapCut and more.
  • Able to develop social media report, monthly bases in providing analysis, comparing amongst competitors and to suggest types of postings that work and able to generate high engagements amongst followers and non-followers.

 

2. Internal Communication:

  • Able to execute internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Assist in executing and distribute internal newsletters and bulletins.
  • Able to assist in podcast productions, which include editing and producing.
  • Assist in organising internal events to ensure alignment with corporate culture and goals.

 

3. External Communication and Branding:

  • Assist in executing external communication strategies to support business objectives and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all external communication channels (website, social media, publications, etc.).

 

4. Media Relations:

  • Assist in maintaining relationships with media outlets and journalists.
  • Assist in distributing press releases, media kits and other communication materials.
  • Assist in coordinating media interviews and manage media inquiries.

 

5. Podcast Production:

  • Able to produce, record and edit monthly episode of podcast production.
  • Assist in prepping questions and narrative for every podcast.
  • Assist in conducting interviews with guests.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in corporate communication, public relations or a related role.
  • Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing media relations.
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms, including social media is a must.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and creative software Adobe Illustrator, Canva, CapCut and etc is a must.
  • Ability to use DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and video editing software is a must.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
