Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build good relations with working people and management to promote and maintain a harmonious industrial relation climate.
- Responsible for Industrial Relation activities and advising management on best practices. Provide advice on labour laws, company policies and HR practices.
- Responsible to prepare collective bargaining agreements and participate in coordination of collective bargaining agreements.
- Handle complaints, grievances and disciplinary procedures including conducting investigations, preparing the necessary disciplinary letters, and conducting domestic inquiries.
- Liaison for court matter and between Company, Solicitors & IR Court for all Company’s IR cases.
- Mediator/Company Representative for JPP/JTK Negotiations meeting.
- Any other assigned duties
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree or additional certifications in Industrial Relations or Employment Law is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in ER/IR. Those with at least 3 years’ experience in ER and/or IR will have an advantage.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken
- Good ability and flair to organize employee engagement activities.
- Possess a strong knowledge of Labour/Employment/Industrial Relations law
