A. Introduction

  1. This Personal Data Privacy Policy (“Policy”) will help you understand how Raya Airways Sdn. Bhd. (“Raya Airways”) uses and/or protects the data you provide us when you visit and/or use our website, rayaairways.com (“Site”).

We will only process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 of Malaysia (“Act”), the applicable regulations, guidelines and/or orders made under the Act and any statutory amendments and/or re-enactments made of the Act, from time to time (collectively, “PDPA”) as well as this Policy.
  3. The PDPA requires us to inform you of your rights with respect to your personal data that is being processed, or that is to be collected and further processed by us, and the purpose for such data processing.
  4. Raya Airways reserves the right to modify, update and/or amend this Policy whenever it is deemed fit or necessary. Such amendments shall be updated via announcements on the Site or other appropriate means. Any amendments to this Policy will be effective upon such time specified in the announcement. By continuing to use the services provided by us and/or access to the Site after such announcements for any amendments made to this Policy, you will be treated as having agreed to and accepted those amendments.

F. Our Cookie Policy

  1. Upon your consent to allow the Site to use cookies, you also agree to the use of the data it collects regarding your online behaviour (analyse web traffic, web pages you spend the most time on and websites you visit).
  2. The data we collect using cookies is used to customise the Site to your needs. After we use the data for statistical analysis, the data is completely removed from our systems.

  2. However, we also have the right to refuse your request to access and/or correct your personal data for such reasons permitted under such applicable laws, such as but not limited to where the expense of providing access to you is disproportionate to the risks to your privacy or where the rights of others may also be violated.

H. Personal Data from Minors

  1. Another part of our priority is adding protection for minors while using the Internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
  2. Generally, we do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under eighteen (18) years of age.
  3. If you think that a minor has provided such data on this Site, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will promptly remove such information from our records.
